FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

The SC BBQ Shag Festival has fun for all members of the family. The kids will love the amusement rides, games, and petting zoo. The moms will love the craftors set up with jewelry, boutique clothing, accessories, artwork, and more! Don't worry dads we have the perfect attraction for you... the annual SC BBQ Shag Festival Car Show presented by Palmetto Cruisers! The car show has set records throughout the years for number of entries in the car show.

In addition we also offer plenty of entertainment options for all ages throughout the festival. On Friday night we host the annual Shag dance contest where couples from all around come to try and win the $100 grand prize. Each year on Friday night we invite some of the best shag music bands from around the Carolina's to come out and play. Some of our recent headlines include The Embers, Hip Pocket Band, and The Tams. The night is capped off with a fireworks show in honor of our military.

On Saturday we host multiple dance recitals from local dance companies including KFA and Cheri and Co. Every year The Swing Sows come out of hibernation and dance with our shaggers and host the annual twist competition for both kids and adults. Then the winners from our SC BBQ Shag Festival Beauty Pageant will make an appearance on stage that afternoon.The festival concludes with the announcement of our BBQ cook-off winners.
